In the week of November 23 - 27, 2020, the Integrity Inspectorate drew up two protocols regarding the contravention based on which sanctions were applied in the total amount of 6000 lei.
Thus, a mayor from Basarabeasca district and a local councilor from Orhei district received a fine of 3000 lei for not respecting the ANI legislation on the aspect of submitting declarations of assets and personal interests.
At the same time, on the name of a municipal councilor from Balti, a control was initiated for non-compliance with the legal regime of conflicts of interest.
Two other mayors from Riscani and Dubasari districts declared situations of conflict of interest, based on which ANI submitted to their attention several solutions.
Also, at the request of the Legal Commission for appointments and immunities of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the Civil Aviation Authority, ANI issued two certificates of integrity.
During the reference period, the Authority signed a Cooperation Agreement with Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova (CALM), thus launching a comprehensive information campaign at national level for local elected officials.
The main goal of the campaign is to significantly reduce the number of verification and control procedures for representatives of local public authorities. The first three training sessions of the campaign were organized for 66 subjects of declaration from the Chisinau City Hall.
Also, last week, ANI participated in 22 court hearings regarding the contestation of the documents issued by the integrity inspectors.
Through the "e-Integrity" system, 17 notifications were distributed to the inspectors for examination.
ANI representatives answered 116 calls, of which 21 to the Institutional Information Line.
