Between 05-09 April 2021, the National Integrity Authority initiated three controls regarding possible conflicts of interest admitted by the former director of JSC “North Electricity Supply”, a head of a Directorate within the Cahul District Council and a mayor from Falesti district. A control procedure regarding incompatibility in the public office was started on the name of a mayor from Falesti district.
A public servant from Police Inspectorate Telenesti of the General Police Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs could be sanctioned for not filing or late filing the declaration of assets and personal interests. In this regard, the integrity inspectors initiated a contravention case on his behalf. Two acts of conflict of interest were issued by the integrity inspectors. Thus, a mayor from Criuleni district and a councilor from Comrat municipality were established with a conflict of interest.
A violation of the incompatibility regime was found with regard to a public servant with special status within the General Directorate of Detentions within the National Administration of Penitentiaries.
A councilor from Causeni district was sanctioned for not declaring and not resolving a conflict of interests within the term established by law. Two other mayors complied with ANI legislation, declaring new conflicts of interest in time. These are the mayor of Băcioi, Chisinau municipality and the mayor of Hăsnășenii Mari village, Drochia district, who is among the most active subjects with declared and resolved conflicts of interest.
Through the "e-Integrity" system, 15 notifications were distributed.
ANI representatives provided telephone consultations on 57 calls and participated in 4 online events. Another 588 declarations of assets and personal interests were submitted on the Public Portal.
