In the week of May 24 - 28, 2021, an assets control procedure was started in which an official from a town hall in the suburb of Chisinau is targeted. Another eight controls were launched to establish possible conflicts of interest admitted by a councilor in the Hiliuți village Council from Falesti district, a mayor from a village in Singerei district, a former mayor from a village in the suburb of Chisinau, a former head of a Health Center from a town in the Chisinau Municipality, a former deputy head  of a district in the central part of the country, a mayor from a village in Floresti district, a mayor from a village in Soroca district and a director of the Municipal Enterprise from Riscani district. At the same time, the integrity inspectors are investigating a case of incompatibility of office of a deputy head of a district in the southwest of the country.

During the last week, the integrity inspectors concluded 4 control procedures in which they established violations on the legal regime of conflicts of interest. Thus, four conflicts of interest were found on a specialist in land ownership in a town hall from the suburb of Chisinau, a director of a gymnasium in Telenesti district, a mayor from Basarabeasca district and the head of a health center in Cantemir district.

A contravention case was initiated for non-submission or late submission of the declaration of assets and personal interests by a public servant with special status within Penitentiary no. 13 from Chisinau. Another contravention case was initiated for violating the legal regime of conflicts of interest by the director of a gymnasium from Telenesti district.

A contravention was established for the non-submission or late submission of the declaration of assets and personal interests by a member of the Superior Council of the Prosecutor's Office. Another contravention was established for impeding ANI's activity by an airline. At the same time, the integrity inspectors fined a total amount of 12,000 lei.

Five other mayors from Anenii Noi, Cahul, Edineț, Ialoveni and Vulcănești districts complied with ANI legislation and declared conflicts of interest. Integrity inspectors analyzed conflict situations and provided solutions.

The Legal Department of ANI represented the institution in 11 court hearings regarding the contestation of the documents issued by the integrity inspectors.

Seven Certificates of integrity have been issued. Through the "e-Integrity" system, 80 notifications were distributed.
