In the week of June 7-11, 2021, the National Integrity Authority started controls on behalf of two directors of forestry enterprises in the republic. One director is targeted in assets control, and the second is checked for a possible conflict of interest. Two other investigations into conflicts of interest also include a mayor of Singerei district and an accountant - chief of a mayor's office in Cantemir district.

A head of a municipal enterprise in Chisinau and the deputy director of a district hospital in the north of the republic are targeted in two contravention cases, initiated for failure to submit or late submitting of declarations of assets and personal interests. And, a councilor from the Băcioi Local Council from Chisinau Municipality risks being sanctioned for non-compliance with the rules for submitting the declaration of assets and personal interests. A protocol on the contravention was drawn up on his behalf.

Seven mayors have declared to ANI the conflicts of interest in which the close people are targeted. Integrity inspectors sent solutions for each reported case. It is about the mayor of a suburb of Chisinau and six other mayors from Falesti, Floresti, Stefan Voda, Anenii Noi, Ialoveni districts.

ANI issued four Certificates of Integrity, which were requested by employers for candidates for public office.

The legal department of ANI participated in 24 court hearings on the defense of the findings, which were challenged by the control subjects.

ANI representatives provided 43 telephone consultations and answered 10 calls to the Institutional Information Line.
