In the week of July 12-16, 2021, the National Integrity Authority (ANI) initiated nine control procedures. The integrity inspectors initiated five property checks on a prosecutor from the Chisinau Prosecutor's Office, two special status civil servants from the Dubasari Police Inspectorate, a mayor from Glodeni district and a councilor from the Hancesti Municipality Council. A mayor from Leova district and one from Ștefan Vodă district are being checked for possible conflicts of interest. Also, for possible incompatibilities of office are checked a mayor from Glodeni district and a councilor from Capaclia Council.

Two acts of finding established conflicts of interest regarding a mayor from Taraclia district and a councilor from Cupcui Council. In two other acts of finding, incompatibilities of office were established on the name of a councilor from the Falesti District Council and a former councilor from the Cricova Council.

3 contravention cases were initiated regarding a judge from the Chisinau Court, a prosecutor from the Chisinau Prosecutor's Office and a civil servant with special status from Dubasari for not filing or late filing the declaration of assets and personal interests.

The same violation served for the preparation by the integrity inspectors of two protocols regarding the contravention, with the fines of 3000 lei and 750 lei respectively on the name of a Head of Directorate within the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure and a director of a public institution subordinated to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.

Last week, ANI resolved four conflicts of interest, which were declared by four mayors from the districts of Soroca, Orhei, Calarasi and the suburbs of Chisinau.

ANI participated in 8 court hearings in order to defend the findings, which were challenged by the subjects established with violations. Eighteen Certificates of Integrity have been issued. ANI representatives provided 67 telephone consultations and answered 15 calls registered to the Institutional Information Line.
