In the week of 08 - 12 November 2021, ANI initiated three control procedures, and in eight other cases minutes were issued regarding the refusal to initiate the control. Thus, checks were started for possible conflicts of interest regarding a mayor from Soroca district and a high school principal from ATU Gagauzia. And the head of Floresti district re-entered the attention of the integrity inspectors for a possible violation of the legal regime of incompatibilities. He also previously appeared in a file on property control, in which he was established with a substantial difference between the acquired wealth and the realized income. Integrity inspectors imposed fines totaling approximately 16,000 lei. The sanctions were applied on behalf of a prosecutor from the Chisinau Prosecutor's Office and five councilors from the Lăpușna Local Council in Hâncești district. The subjects were fined for not submitting their declarations of assets and personal interests.

In the previous week, integrity inspectors refused to initiate control procedures in eight cases. The refusals concern the control of the property on the name of a former mayor from Telenesti district and a district councilor from Falesti. In six other cases, controls on conflicts of interest and incompatibilities involving a mayor of Ungheni district, a deputy mayor from the north of the republic, a councilor from Edinet municipality, an accountant from a town hall from Orhei district, a kindergarten director, and a counselor from Edineț. The decisions of the integrity inspectors not to initiate these controls are argued by the fact that in all these cases there was no reasonable suspicion and evidence to conduct investigations.

ANI lawyers participated in 28 court hearings. The employees responsible for prevention within ANI provided training to 200 subjects within 7 subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and offered 82 telephone consultations, including 15 at the Institutional Information Line.

ANI resolved five conflicts of interest and issued 16 Certificates of Integrity.
