Between July 4 and 8, 2022, the National Integrity Authority (ANI) initiated five contravention cases, all regarding the non-submission of declarations of assets and personal interests by district and local councilors. In three other cases, the integrity inspectors issued minutes regarding the contravention, through which they applied fines in the total amount of 6250 lei. Thus, a civil servant with a special status, a local councilor and a kindergarten director were fined.

ANI resolved 16 conflicts of interest, which were reported by the subjects of the declaration according to the legislation in force, thus providing the necessary solutions for each case separately. At the same time, 27 Certificates of Integrity were issued. And, the Legal Department participated in 21 court hearings.

During the period in question, the integrity inspectors refused to initiate six controls on the grounds of non-compliance or exceeding the limitation period. And, in three other control procedures, it was decided to end the procedure, because no deviations from the ANI-related legal regimes were identified.

ANI representatives provided 46 telephone consultations, including 9 calls were registered at the Institutional Line.
