In the week of November 30 - December 4, 2020, the Integrity Inspectorate issued a statement regarding a former Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova for violating the legal regime of assets.
Two other acts of finding in which incompatibilities of office were established were issued on behalf of an employee of the Police Department of Chisinau and a customs inspector from the Customs Service of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, the integrity inspectors established five conflicts of interest in the cases of four subjects of the declaration from Anenii Noi, Floresti, Cahul, Leova and Basarabeasca districts.
A head of a municipal enterprise from Orhei and a local councilor from Bardar, Ialoveni district were fined 3,000 lei for not submitting the declaration of assets and personal interests.
At the same time, the integrity inspectors initiated four controls. Three of them are for non-compliance with the legal regime of incompatibilities by an official with special status within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a public servant within the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and a local councilor from Holercani, Dubasari district. Another control for violating the legal regime of conflicts of interest was initiated regarding an official from Local Public Authority Zastinca, Soroca district.
Three mayors declared to ANI the conflicts of interest based on which the integrity inspectors sent certain solutions. These are: mayor of Băcioi, Chisinau Municipality, the mayor of Drăgușenii Noi, Hâncești district and the mayor of Popeasca, Ștefan Vodă district.
Also, last week, ANI participated in 13 court hearings regarding the contestation of the acts.
ANI representatives organized five training sessions, within the information campaign "Keep CALM and Local Integrity", of which two trainings took place through the ZOOM platform. In total, 101 subjects of the declaration were trained.
Through the "e-Integrity" system, 12 notifications were distributed to the inspectors for examination.
ANI representatives answered 113 calls, of which 19 to the Institutional Information Line.
