In the week of December 14-18, 2020, the National Integrity Authority (ANI) found an incompatibility situation regarding a Member of Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and a former deputy head of the Chisinau Territorial Office of the State Chancellery. At the same time, the integrity inspectors established a substantial difference between the acquired wealth and the obtained revenues, during a control carried out on a head of a municipal enterprise from Chisinau.
A subject of declaration from the Orhei District Hospital, a civil servant with special status from the National Inspectorate of Public Security (Ministry of Interior Affairs) and two heads of educational institutions from Soroca and Telenesti districts are targeted in four contravention cases initiated for non-submission of declarations of assets and interests.
Nine controls were initiated on the legal regime of conflicts of interest. Two mayors from Edinet and Riscani districts, three directors of educational institutions from Soroca, Telenesti, Taraclia districts, a former employee of JSC "Red Nord", a councilor from Holercani Council, Dubasari, District, a subject from Orhei District Hospital and a subject from Local Public Authority Micăuți, Straseni District.
A minister and three mayors submitted to ANI statements on conflicts of interest, on the basis of which the integrity inspector provided solutions.
Through the "e-Integrity" system, 21 notifications were distributed to the inspectors for examination.
ANI representatives organized 6 online training sessions for 85 subject of declaration within the “Keep CALM and Local Integrity” information campaign.
During the reference period, 118 telephone calls were answered, out of which 26 at the Institutional Information Line.
