In the week of December 21-24, 2020, the Integrity Inspectorate drew up a protocol on the contravention regarding a judge from the Chisinau Court for the late submission of the declaration of assets and personal interests. The protocol was referred to the court for application of the fine. A contravention case was filed against a financial institution for obstructing ANI's activity by failing to provide information, which were requested by the integrity inspector during a control.
During the reference period, the integrity inspectors established conflicts of interest regarding the former manager of JSC "Red-Nord", the director of the Clinical Hospital in Balti, the management of the Water Polo Sports School in Chisinau and the head of the Institute of Pedology, Agrochemistry and Protection of the Soil. Two other mayors from Dubasari and Edinet districts, as well as a former mayor from Hincesti district, admitted conflicts of interest. And, a mayor from Rascani district is targeted in another contravention case started for not submitting the declaration of assets and personal interests.
Also, the integrity inspectors initiated controls for non-compliance with the legal regime of conflicts of interest regarding a former mayor from Sangerei district and two local councillors from Ciorești, Chisinau Municipality and Floresti district.
At the same time, three situations of conflict of interest were declared at ANI by two mayors from Anenii Noi and Dubasari districts, based on which the inspectors submitted to their attention several proposals for solutions.
Through the “e-Integrity” system, 12 notifications were distributed to the inspectors and 6 certificates of integrity were issued.
ANI employees answered 93 calls, of which 12 to the Institutional Information Line.
