Between March 9-12, 2021, the Integrity Inspectorate of ANI initiated a control on the director general of the State Enterprise “Urbanproiect”. The subject is to be verified on the aspect of a possible violation of the legal regime of conflicts of interests.
Two other control procedures regarding possible conflicts of interest were initiated regarding the management of a vocational education institution in Chisinau and of a boarding school in Straseni.
Four fines in the total amount of 10,500 lei were applied for non-submission or late submission of declarations of assets and personal interests and failure to resolve a conflict of interest. These violations were established regarding an administrator of a municipal enterprise from Leova, a mayor from Cimișlia district and two councilors from Soldanesti and Leova districts.
A contravention case was initiated on the name of a local councilor from Băcioi, Chisinau municipality. He is verified on the aspect of non-filing or late filing of the declaration of assets and personal interests.
Three conflicts of interest were found on the name of a mayor from Hincesti district, a local councilor from Causeni district and a kindergarten director from Soroca district.
Five other mayors complied with ANI legislation and declared conflicts of interest within the set deadline. These are the mayors from Băcioi, Chișinău, Dobrușa from Soldanesti district, Cocieri from Dubasari district, Slobozia Mare, from Cahul district and Pompa from Falesti district.
The legal department of ANI participated in 22 court hearings for the defense of the finding documents, issued by the integrity inspectors and contested by the subjects of the declaration.
ANI representatives organized five training sessions attended by about 380 subjects of the declaration. Also, 380 phone consultations were provided, of which 115 were registered at the ANI Institutional Information Line.
Through the electronic system "e-Integrity" 40 notifications were distributed.
Last week, about 6,600 declarations of assets and personal interests were filed on the Public Portal of Declarations.
