In the week of 13 - 17 September 2021, the National Integrity Authority issued a total of 12 finding acts. On the aspect of incompatibilities of office, two ex-Members of Parliament of the Republic of Moldova are targeted. They simultaneously held other positions while they were in the mandate of legislator. On one of them, ANI issued a press release. Details about the violation admitted by the other former Member of Parliament will be released soon.

Five conflicts of interest were established regarding three mayors from Soroca, Cimișlia, Floresti districts, but also on a local councilor from Cimișlia district and a head of kindergarten from Fălești district.

At the same time, last week, ANI announced about the unjustified wealth held by a former director of SPPS (State Protection and Guard Service). In this case, ANI will also send the request for confiscation of the property.

The interim head of the IGP (General Inspectorate of Police) and the secretary of the Local Council of Cricova, Chisinau municipality are targeted in two contravention cases. They could be fined for failing to file declarations of assets and personal interests.

Integrity inspectors initiated five control procedures. The wealth controls targets: the chief prosecutor of Telenesti district, control started based on a journalistic investigation and a civil servant with special status within the IGP of the Ministry of Interior.

The legal department of ANI participated in 24 court hearings in order to defend the finding acts. ANI representatives launched a new information campaign for the subjects of the declaration within the Ministry of Interior. At the same time, consultations were offered to 85 telephone calls, including 13 to the Institutional Information Line.
