In the period of February 8-12, 2021, the Integrity Inspectorate of the National Integrity Authority (ANI) initiated ten controls. The control procedures involve two MP’s from the Socialist Party (PSRM) and Democratic Party (PDM) factions. One Member is checked for possible non-compliance with the legal regime of assets, and the second MP’s is targeted in the procedure of checking incompatibilities of office. Their names will be made public after the completion of the control procedures.

A former administrator of Chisinau International Airport and a head of district are also checked during the assets control. Three other controls were initiated on the names of three mayors from Ialoveni and Drochia districts.

The initiated verifications also include a head of a Public Health Center from Cantemir district.

The integrity inspectors issued eight finding acts of a violation of the legal regimes of conflicts of interest and incompatibilities. These violations were admitted by a deputy director of the District Hospital, a former theater director from Bălți, a former head of the culture department from Taraclia and three other mayors from Soroca districts, Fălești. They were checked and found with admitted conflicts of interest during the exercise of the given positions, and a local councilor from Glodeni district simultaneously held another position.

Seven contravention cases were initiated on the name of a former head of the General Inspectorate of Police (IGP), vice-head of Straseni district, public servant within the State Ecological Inspectorate, three local councilors from Cricova, Chisinau Municipality and a local councilor from Soldanesti district. They could be penalized for not submitting declarations of assets and personal interests.

During this period, ANI organized five online trainings for 300 participants.

ANI representatives answered 192 calls, of which 48 to the Institutional Line.

Through the "e-Integrity" system, 15 notifications were distributed. Upon request, 9 Certificates of Integrity were issued. On the Portal of Declarations, 2136 declarations of assets and personal interests were submitted.
