In the week of February 15-19, 2021, the ANI Integrity Inspectorate found a violation of the legal regime of assets by a member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova. His name will become public in the next period after the publication of the act of finding.

Contravention sanctions were applied to a deputy chief prosecutor of the Ștefan Vodă Prosecutor's Office, a former head of the IGP and the director of a municipal enterprise for late declaration and non-submission of declarations of assets and personal interests.

Another finding act was issued regarding a public servant with special status within the Ministry of Interior, who violated the legal regime of declaring assets, and the director of Moldsilva and five local elected officials from Leova district and Gagauzia were found with undeclared and unresolved conflicts of interest. Two other local elected officials from Nisporeni and Floresti district had incompatible in the office.

Over the past week, integrity inspectors have initiated five controls for the legal regime of conflicts of interest and one control for incompatibility in the office. These checks targeted the head of a municipal enterprise in Leova, a mayor from the suburb of Chisinau, two local elected officials from Calarasi and Dubasari districts and the head of a Health Center from Cahul district.

Two contravention cases were initiated for violating the provisions of the legal regime of conflicts of interest and failure to submit the declaration of assets and personal interests of two local elected officials from Basarabeasca and Leova districts.

ANI representatives organized three trainings within the campaign - "Be honest - Declare everything you have on time", which was attended by about 250 people. 342 consultations were provided by telephone, and 71 calls were registered at the Institutional Information Line.

Also, over 3,500 declarations of assets and personal interests were published on the public portal of declarations.

The legal department attended 15 court hearings in order to defend the finding acts issued by the integrity inspectors.
