In the week of January 31 - February 4, 2022, was initiated a property control procedure in which a civil servant with special status from the Central Police Inspectorate of Ministry of Interior Affairs is targeted. Five other controls were launched to establish possible conflicts of interest admitted by a mayor from Hâncești district, a local councilor from Cimișlia district, a councilor from Comrat Council, a high school principal from Straseni district and a former middle school principal from Edinet district.

During the last week, the integrity inspectors concluded 9 control procedures, in 7 procedures being established violations on the legal regimes of the declaration of assets, conflicts of interest and incompatibilities. Thus, three violations of the legal regime of the declaration of assets were found by a former secretary general from the Ministry of Interior, a mayor from Singerei district and a local councilor from Edinet district.

Three conflicts of interest were found on behalf of a director of Municipal Enterprise from Taraclia district, a mayor from Dondușeni district and a director of Kindergarten from Dubăsari district. An incompatibility was found on a mayor from Glodeni district.

A contravention case was initiated for non-submission of declaration of assets and personal interests by a civil servant within National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA). And, another contravention was established regarding a mayor from Dondușeni district for violating the legal regime of conflicts of interest.

Eleven subjects of the declaration declared a conflict of interest each. Integrity inspectors analyzed conflict situations and provided solutions.

The Legal Department of ANI represented the institution in 29 court hearings regarding the contestation of the documents issued by the integrity inspectors.

ANI representatives organized and conducted 4 online training sessions for about 1,500 subjects of declaration of assets and personal interests and offered telephone consultations on 201 calls, including 41 on the Institutional Information Line.
