Between April 18-29, 2022, the National Integrity Authority issued three acts of finding regarding properties. In one case it was established the violation of the legal regime of the property by a former director of a public institution. In two other acts, substantial differences were established on the name of two prosecutors in the amount of over 400 thousand lei in the first case and in the amount of over 260 thousand lei in the second case.

Conflicts of interest committed by a mayor and a former director of the Project Implementation Unit were established in two acts finding. Incompatibilities of office were found in a case of a mayor and a civil servant from the district council.

Four controls were initiated regarding possible conflicts of interest admitted by a local councilor, a director of the middle school - kindergarten, a director of the kindergarten-nursery and a director of the kindergarten. A property control procedure has been initiated on behalf of a civil servant.

A head of a public institution, three mayors, a councilor, four civil servants and a civil servant with special status could be penalized for failure to submit or late submission a declaration of assets and personal interests and for admission of conflicts of interest. In this regard, the integrity inspectors initiated 10 contravention cases on their behalf.

A counselor was fined with 3,000 lei for not declaring / not resolving a conflict of interests. Another civil servant was sanctioned with a fine of 1500 lei for the late submission of the declaration of assets and personal interests, having already paid 750 lei.

Nineteen subjects of the declaration declared conflicts of interest in time. All conflicts of interest have been resolved. 67 Certificates of Integrity have been issued.

ANI representatives provided 170 consultations in the field of activity, including 32 telephone consultations at the Institutional Information Line.
